SMARCO Project launches to boost smart community skills across Europe

Piemonte Innova partner in the Erasmus+ project “SMARt COmmunities Skills Development in Europe”

Fondazione Piemonte Innova joins a new Erasmus+ initiative for greener and more digital smart communities.

SMARCO will powering Europe’s future with a strong focus on resilience and sustainability, addressing the lack of skills among public administrations’ staff  working on smart communities, and ICT professionals.

The project will serve as an all-encompassing umbrella for skills on both sides – industry and public administrations – offering evidence-based research, trends analysis and other resources for its stakeholder community.

Coordinated by the European DIGITAL SME Alliance and implemented by a consortium of 22 partners and associatied partners, SMARCO will offer flexible learning pathways and a new certification scheme which can further improve the overall quality and market adaptability of other existing smart cities and communities training.
